Armenian Investigative Committee established the identity of the woman, who left newborn in Armenia’s Proshyan village, the press service of the committee said.
According to the source, the child was found at 09:20am on August 12, 2017 under a tree.
Police identified the mother of the child. According to preliminary data, the woman gave birth at home, and then decided to get rid of the baby, leaving her in the garden, News.am reported.
