In the Gegharkunik region of Armenia, a construction worker died when a layer of land collapsed during laying of water pipes, the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies of Armenia reports.
It is specified that the incident occurred in the village of Zolakar during the construction of water pipes. "A 60-year-old man remained in a trench under a depleted layer of earth and died; another injured worker was taken to a hospital in Martuni," the message posted on the Russian Emergencies Ministry website reads
