The World Bank is developing a long-term strategy of development of the Georgian energy sector. During the meeting, representatives of the Bank's mission briefed the Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri with the proposals and recommendations.
The World Bank mission is headed by the Energy and Extractive Global Practice manager in the Europe and Central Asia Region, Ranjit Lamech.
According to Khaduri, the Georgian government is actively working to attract investment in the energy sector of the country, as well as to increase cooperation between the state and the private sector in this area, Sputnik Georgia reports.
