Azerbaijan’s Haji Aliyev (61kg) won a gold medal in men’s freestyle wrestling at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku.
In the final meeting, he defeated Kyrgyzstan’s Alibek Osmonov and won the gold medal for Azerbaijan at Baku 2017, a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports.
The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games are held in Baku from May 8 to 22. Athletes will compete at 16 sports facilities in 20 types of sports - 17 Olympic and three non-Olympic ones.
