About 40 participants of the "yellow vest" protest movement have tried to break into French President Emmanuel Macron's summer residence on the Mediterranean coast, the France Bleu radio station reported.
The protesters tried to storm the medieval fort of Bregancon yesterday before being stopped by police on their way to the presidential residence. Forced to turn back, the demonstrators said they would try again on Friday, the outlet reported.
The wave of the so-called yellow vest protests started in mid-November.
