Yerevan, Tehran discuss implementation of joint programs

The head of the Armenian Ministry of Economy met with the Iranian Ambassador to Yerevan on Wednesday. The meeting was dedicated to joint efforts to expand economic ties between the two countries.

A meeting was held in Yerevan between Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Sobhani, who is concluding his diplomatic mission in the country, a statement published on the ministry's social media pages on September 17 reads.

The meeting focused on joint efforts aimed at expanding economic ties between the two countries. In particular, the parties noted the importance of ongoing programs.
