Yerevan asks Moscow to speed up delivery of weapons

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has urged the head of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev to accelerate the agreement of the contract with Rosoboronexport for the supply of military equipment to Yerevan.

"We are thankful to the Russian side for the provision of the state export credit to finance the supply of military products for the needs of Armenia. However, there are some delays in the process of implementation of the provisions of the agreement, so I ask you to instruct Rosoboronexport on the conclusion of the contract,'' Interfax reports.
