Turkey's air force has been involved in coalition air strikes on the Iraqi city of Mosul, part of the US-backed operation to flush out ISIL, the Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said.
“Our Air Forces have also participated in air interventions in Mosul,” the Hürriyet Daily cited Yıldırım as saying.
He added that Turkey would do "everything necessary" against all kinds of threats and did not need permission from others.
