Young man escaping from psychiatric clinic hit by car in Yerevan

In Yerevan 20-year-old Vardan Melyan, who previously escaped from the Nubarashen mental health center was found after being hit by a car on the Yerevan-Sevan road, the press service of the police reported.

"At around 22:35 pm on February 3rd on the Yerevan-Sevan Road a Renault car hit an unidentified man who was taken to hospital unconscious. Later it was discovered that he is Vartan Melyan, who is wanted,’’ Sputnik- Armenia quotes the message of the law enforcement office.

The doctors assessed the condition of the victim as serious.
