Yusif Eyvazov was appointed the director of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. The appointment order was signed by the Ministry of Culture of the country.
Opera singer Yusif Eyvazov headed the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
The order to appoint the 45-year-old Honored and People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan the theater director was signed by the First Deputy Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan, Acting Minister Adil Karimli.
Yusif Eyvazov is a world-famous soloist, dramatic tenor. He performs at the most prestigious venues in the world. Eyvazov's wife is Russian opera diva Anna Netrebko. The couple regularly gives concerts, where they perform hits of world opera classics. In February, the talented duet delighted fans with a new love composition, "10 Steps".
