The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova called the arrival of foreign investors and major business representatives to the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) a response to the Western sanctions.
According to Zakharova, the interest of foreign business in Russia is an obvious desire to cooperate even under sanctions pressure, ongoing Washington's pressure on Europe in terms of relations with Russia.
"Despite that, we see a huge number of people who are doing everything in order to continue this cooperation," the diplomat noted.
