Russia welcomes the readiness of Azerbaijan and Armenia to intensify the negotiation process and to reduce tensions along the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said today.
"We support the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, which are working on organizing a meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers to discuss the essential issues of the settlement and possible measures to stabilize the situation,"she said.
In addition, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson expressed regret over the situation in the conflict zone and urged Baku and Yerevan to demonstrate a constructive approach to unraveling the knot of uncoordinated issues, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reported.
