Iran does not claim to take the Russian share of the world gas market, the Oil Minister of the country Bijan Namdar Zanganeh stated.
"I think it is not necessary," RIA Novosti quotes his response to a question about whether Russia should worry about it.
At the same time, the minister noted that his country has some difficulties with the export of gas in the absence of a pipeline leading to the west. "We do not have a pipeline to export gas to the European countries, this requires time. Now there are a lot of negotiations with Turkey and other countries in order export gas to Europe," Zanganeh said.
