After lifting of sanctions against Iran the republic intends to restore its position in OPEC by the autumn, doubling the volume of its oil exports and bringing them to 2 million barrels a day, oil minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said.
"We are confident that soon after the lifting of sanctions we will be able to increase the daily supply of oil by 500,000 barrels, and after 6-7 months we intend to increase exports up to a million,’’ RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
