Zanganeh: we are ready for dialogue with Riyadh on conditions in oil market

Tehran is ready to negotiate with Saudi Arabia over the current conditions in the oil market, the Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said.

"We support any form of dialogue and cooperation with OPEC member states, including Saudi Arabia," he said. The minister pointed out that some Persian Gulf countries are helping to push down oil prices, but what "they want to achieve is not at all for economic gains".

"If there were strong political will, the price of oil would have been balanced within one single week," TASS cited Zanganeh as saying.
As of 08:14 (MSK) the crude oil futures of WTI rose 2.38%, reaching $28.60. The price of a barrel of Brent crude rose by 2.54% to $31.09 per barrel.
