Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Iran is concerned about a "new wave" of foreign intervention in Syria led by the US after the defeat of ISIS.
Speaking on the sidelines of the conference of the international discussion club Valdai, he accused the US of trying to capture Syrian territory by making use of proxies.
"It is clear that the Americans are engaged in activities in Syria through a pre-calculated policy, trying to occupy parts of the Syrian territory," the Iran Project cited Zarif as saying.
