During the period of sanctions, Iran has not only preserved its relations with Russia and China, but even strengthened them, the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stated.
"We have always maintained and strengthened relations with Russia and China," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
In this regard, the minister stressed that Iran "will not forget the countries that supported the Islamic Republic of Iran during the sanctions."
