Zarif, Lavrov confer on Syria in Lausanne

Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Lausanne, Switzerland, several minutes ago to attend International Confereence on Syria. He reviewed mechanisms to deliver humanitarian relief aid to Syria and issues of mutual interests.

The two foreign ministers discussed the latest developments in Syria and made consultation on agenda of the International Conference on Syria due to convene in matter of hours. International Conference on Syria is to kick off on Saturday afternoon local time in presence of foreign ministers of Iran, Russia, US, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt and Qatar.
