Zarif: Russia and Iran to discuss the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in Baku

During a meeting of ministers in Baku, the Russian and Iranian foreign ministers will discuss the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Syria and other issues on the international agenda, the Iranian minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, said before his visit to Azerbaijan.

"Tomorrow we will have a good opportunity to return to the subject of a ceasefire and the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,'' Zarif said, adding that "Iran is fully prepared to become a mediator between the Azerbaijani and Armenian governments and reach a negotiated settlement on Nagorno-Karabakh," Trend reports.
