Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that the United States was exerting efforts to make Iran withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
"The US side is trying to destroy the JCPOA and to make Iran withdraw from the deal. All goals of the United States are aimed at removing Iran from the nuclear deal," ISNA cited Zarif as saying.
He added that the United States used propaganda, and psychological pressure among other methods to force Iran end its participation in the agreement.
On Friday, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araghchi said that Iran may withdraw from the JCPOA in coming weeks, unless Europe proves its commitment to preserving the agreement after the US pullout.
