Iran's nuclear program has always been and always will remain exclusively peaceful, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said.
"Iran's nuclear ambitions have always been peaceful – a year ago and 10 years ago. And 10 years later, they will also remain peaceful ... We do not believe that nuclear weapons in any way would strengthen our security," TASS cited him as saying.
The minister pointed out that over the last decade the IAEA employees have organized in Iran more inspections than anywhere else, but "they have not found any trace of the presence of nuclear weapons." "Over the next decade, the result of the inspections of the IAEA will be exactly the same, because we are not interested in obtaining nuclear weapons," Zarif said.
The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that all the accusations against Iran related to alleged possession of nuclear weapons are "completely unfounded" and "come mainly from Israel".
