Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will take part in the 71st UN annual General Assembly conference in New York, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi said.
Asked about possibility of Iranian President’s visit to New York to take part in the conference, he said that they are "investigating the issue and its fields to make the appropriate decision."
Hassan Rouhani has attended the three previous UN General Assembly sessions as Iran’s president. This year’s session will be the last to fall on his present presidential term.
