Russia’s Zenit St. Petersburg beat Dinamo Minsk 8-1 and advanced to the knockout phase of the UEFA Europa League qualification round at St. Petersburg’s Petrovsky Stadium yesterday evening.
The goals were scored by Zenit’s Leandro Paredes (22’), Christian Noboa (66’), Artem Dzyuba (75’, 78’, 115’(penalty)), Sebastian Driussi (108’) and Robert Mak (120+1 (penalty), 120+3). Seidu Yahaya scored for Dinamo Minsk (99').
Leandro Paredes and Maksim Shvyatsow received red cards and were sent off 72 and 120 minutes into the game, respectively.
In its next games, St. Petersburg will face Norway’s Molde on August 23 and 30. The winner will advance to the group stage of the UEFA Europa League.
