 Zohra Aghamirova ranked 8th in qualification round with ball routine at Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku

Azerbaijani gymnast Zohra Aghamirova was ranked 8th after performing in qualifying competitions on individual performances of gymnasts in exercises with a ball with 18,25 points at the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, thus claiming to reach the final on Sunday.

Vlada Nikolchenko (Ukraine) showed the best result with 19.9 points. Nicol Zelikman (Israel) ranked second with 19.6 points, Katrin Taseva (Bulgaria) ranked third with 18.7 points. 

Baku is hosting the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup at the National Gymnastics Arena. More than 200 gymnasts from 39 countries are participating in the tournament: more than 70 athletes will perform in individual programs and 25 team will compete in group exercises. Starting from this year it is possible to get a license at the World Cup to participate in the Olympic Games.
