A new zoo in Tbilisi is to be built no earlier than a year and a half, Deputy Mayor Dmitry Kumsishvili said today.
"Regarding the transfer of the zoo to a new territory near the Tbilisi Sea, the city authorities have already taken this decision.’’
‘‘The corresponding funds have already been mobilized, we are to start fencing the area of the new zoo. At the moment we have two projects. The beginning of construction depends on the project that will be finally selected. Presumably, it will take at least one and a half years,’’ Kumsishvili cites Sputnik-Georgia.
