The Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra under the conductor, laureate of the State Prize of the Israeli Zubin Mehta is to perform today in Yerevan. It is their first concert in Armenia.
The concert is to take place at the Alexander Spendiarian National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet. The program of the event includes compositions of Peter Tchaikovsky, Johann Strauss and Arnold Schoenberg.
According to jewish.ru, Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra arrived in Yerevan to participate in the festival Yerevan Perspectives founded in 2000.
