The first of three scheduled concerts of the Festival of Armenian Jazz
will take place in Moscow on the 3rd of February. According to the
information center of the newspaper of Armenians in Russia, Yerkramas,
the concert will take place in the Durov art club with the
participation of legendary vocalist, pianist and composer Sergey
Manukyan, Armenia Today reports.
Sergey Manukyan has been shining on the jazz scene for more than 30
years. He is a permanent headliner of leading jazz events in Russia.
The second day of the festival of Armenian jazz is scheduled for
February 10, when the stage will be given to a new discovery in the
jazz world - amazing, stylish, elegant and charming singer Sabina
Vartanova.
The final day of the festival, 17 February, will be held under the
symbol of peace and buzz. This day the pride of Armenian jazz will
perform - a the magnificent singer Miriam Merabova with her band, who
is known to a wider audience now thanks to the Eurovision Song
Contest.
