Young Armenian and Turkish musicians have performed at the residence
of the Turkish ambassador to the USA, Armenia Today reports.
They performed the pieces of Adnan Saygun, Edgar Manas, Vikran
Kukhachyan. They dedicated a song "Sari Akhchik" to the deceased
journalist Grant Dinka.
The Turkish Ambassador to the USA Namik Tan underlined the importance
of cultural heritage in mutual understanding. He said that he invited
the Armenian ambassador to the USA, but he had declined the
invitation.
The musicians noted that they were glad to perform and added that
music has nothing in common with politics.
