Armenia opens book fair

The Armenian National Children's Library named after Khnko Aper began
hosting its sixth book fair in Yerevan on February 17, NEWS.am
reports.


The printing works of the Armenian Apostolic Church is taking part in
the three-day fair. It presented some 50 new books on theology,
Armenian studies and rituals. Some 30 publishing offices are
participating. Armenia will celebrate the 500th anniversary of its
first printed book in 2012. UNESCO proclaimed Yerevan the world book
capital.
