Iran to change representation of Azerbaijan on television

The Iranian television channel "Seher-2" will stop broadcasting
anti-Azerbaijani broadcasts in the near future, as they are
detrimental to bilateral relations between the two countries, the
Ministry for Communications and Information Technology of Iran, Reza
Tagipur Anbar, told reporters on a visit to Baku, vesti.az reports.

The Iranian minister noted that television and radio companies in Iran
are independent of the government and are not subject to the ministry.
However, necessary censorship will be carried out in order to support
a positive image of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis in Iran.
