The Maestro TV company has renewed broadcasting on February 23, after it concluded a deal with Turksat (Turkey), Georgia Online reports.
The director of the TV company,, Bacho Kikabide, did not give details on Maestro’s broadcasting in Western Europe and Central Russia.
Turksat is helping other Georgian channels, such as Rustavi-2, Imedi and the Public Broadcaster to broadcast. Maestro was using the Mir satellite last year, but its financial problems in September 2010 stopped it broadcasting.
Tbilisi is mainly using cable broadcasting. However, there are often technical problems with channels.
