“Turkey - USSR: from coup to collapse (1980-1991)” book presentation at RSHU

The Russian-Turkish Educational Scientific Center of the Russian State Humanitarian University (RSHU), has presented the book “Turkey - USSR: from coup to collapse (1980-1991).” Its author is the Azerbaijani historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Musa Gasimli. The research is based on archival material from Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and the US.

The director of the Russian-Turkish Educational and Scientific Center, Dmitry Vasiliev, in his speech noted the critical importance of such scientific research, to fill blank spots existing in the history of relations between Russia and Turkey, which make it impossible to look objectively at the history of relations between the two countries and peoples.
