Russian Humanities Center opened at Arabaev Kyrgyz University
A Russian Humanities Center was opened on April 25 at the Kyrgyz University in Bishkek. The founders of the center are the Russian State University of the Humanities (RGGU) and the History Faculties of Moscow Lomonosov State University (MGU) and the Arabaev Kyrgyz University.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, a representative of the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Lydia Dyachenko, RGGU Professor and Deputy Dean of History Faculty of MGU, Alexei Vlasov, and the Deputy Head of the Department of post-Soviet Studies of the RGGU and the head of the Scientific Center for Caucasian Studies, Ismail Agakishiev.

Notably, all the participants at the opening of the Center, from both the Russian and Kyrgyz sides, are graduates of Moscow State University. In their speeches at the ceremony, the speakers noted that relations between the countries and between the graduates for success in scientific and educational fields are being restored. MGU and RGGU donated a lot of scientific literature to the new Russian Humanities Center.
