The Azerbaijani Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology is going to start excavations on the territory of 8 ancient settlements, Trend reports.
The remains of the ancient settlements were found in Sheki-Gakh-Oguz region last autumn. All the settlements were inhabited in the Iron Age.
