The Council of Elders of Yerevan has unanimously approved the membership of the Armenian capital in the Eurocities association, Armenia Today reports.
The head of External Relations of the Yerevan Municipality, noted that the association brings together more than 140 cities and communities in Europe, while the membership in this association will provide Yerevan with an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between cities in different countries, implement joint programs for the exchange of experiences in economic, technological, social, cultural and other spheres.
