The festival “Caspian Sea: Coast of Friendship" is held in the framework of the plan for cultural cooperation between Russian regions and the Caspian states. The main objectives of the meeting organizers include the development of cultural cooperation among the Caspian states in the fundamental interests of their peoples, the preservation of unity, peace and stability, good neighborly friendship, international collaboration, exchange of experience in the field of preservation of ethnic culture, folk traditions and the development of the cultural potential of the region.
The participants of the festival will come from Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Russia's regions: Dagestan, Kalmykia and the Astrakhan region.
