Dagestan is preparing to celebrate the Day of Sharven Lezghian epic

The Organizing Committee of the Suleiman-Stalsky District has prepared
a plan for a celebratory event to mark the Day of the National
Lezghian heroic epic “Sharven”. The celebration will take place on
June 25 in the village of Akhty.

This year, a "Sharven" organizing committee consisting of 14 members
was created in order to arrange necessary preparations for the
holiday. Almost all parts of Southern Dagestan, as well as guests from
all over Russia and abroad, will take part in the celebration, RIA
Dagestan reports, referring to the administration of the
Suleiman-Stalsky municipality.
