Azerbaijan will pass a law on science, which will clarify the financing system for science and research centers, MP Musa Guliyev told Trend.
Financing science and research centers from the budget does not provide full efficiency. Financing specific projects will give science staff more material interest.
The bill contains principles and goals of state policy in science, mechanisms of stimulating science, rights and obligations of science staff, management and coordination of science, new financing mechanisms, stimulation of innovations and establishment of new science schools.
The new financing principles are expected to invite more young scientists.
The bill will be considered in Autumn.
