Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan will present his film 'Once Upon a
Time in Anatolia' at the Golden Apricot Cinema Festival in Yerevan.
The film received a grand prix at the Cannes film fest.
Ceylan is famous for his film 'Distant', which received awards at
Cannes, Chicagom Istanbul, Mexico, San-Sebastian, Sofia and Trieste.
This will be the 8th Golden Apricot festival in Yerevan. It will be
held on July 10-17.
The festival started in 2004 and is one of the most prestigious in the
region. About 630 requests from 81 states were sent for participation.
150 requests from 45 states were accepted.
The International Cinema Union awarded the Ficts Plate D“honneur to
the Golden Apricot in 2010.
