In Dilizhan the most international and peoples monument is erected. It glorifies characters of the Soviet movie Mimino, News Armenia reports.
Bronze statues of Frunzik Mkrtchyan, Vakhtang Kikabidze and Yugeny Leonov symbolize friendship of three neighbor-countries: Armenia, Georgia and Russia. It is a fountain. Architects say that vivifying power of art is possible only in mutual work.
The figures stay hugging each other.
Every Georgian who goes through this town will stop here, drink some water and remember outstanding people, who participated in the movie.
In Moscow there is a monument to this film by Georgy Danelia too. The same monument is planned to be erected in Tbilisi.
