Russia's Stavropol Territory will sign an investment deal with Rosnano
to construct a nanotechnology center in late 2012, RIA Novosti
reports.
The center will have a new building covering 5,000 square meters. The
project is worth 1.3 billion rubles. The nanocenter will be located on
the border of Mikhailovsky City, 3 km away from Stavropol Airport.
Investment manager of Rosnano, Kirill Ionov, said that they had
approved the schedule for construction. A tender for the building will
be announced in August.
The Ministry for Economic Development said that they expect to hire
ESKOM and Monokristal and heads of the North Caucasian State Technical
University and the Medical Academy for the project.
Rosnano was established in March 2011 through reorganization of the
state corporation fornano technologies. The government holds 100% of
the Rosnano shares.
