Georgia is hosting a contest for young Russian-language poets to
stimulate and support them, News Georgia reports.
Young poets were invited from Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, aged
17-30. Authors have a free choice of topics and form of poetry.
The contest is aimed at creating interest in national and Russian
history, culture and language, the restoration of literary traditions
among poets in the Caucasus, Russky Club reports.
Bids for the contest are allowed to be filed until September 15.
Winners will be named in December 2011.
