The organizing committee of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games is starting a
contest for the best start and closing ceremonies of the games, RIA
Novosti reports.
The contest will start on August the 3rd, the 31th anniversary of the
Olympic Games in 1980. Versions may be sent via computer. The contest
will be open for 6 months. There are no bid limitations.
The judges consist of actors, playwrights and producers. The winner
will be chosen on December the 24th, 2011.
One of the most unusual projects is the flag of birds or the
“introduction” of the 1980 mascot to the one of 2014.
