Today a monument to the prominent Azerbaijani composer Fikret Amirov was officially opened in Baku. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the ceremony. The sculpture has been installed on the street bearing the name of Fikret Amirov, Trend reports.
The author of the monument is artist Namik Dadashev. The total height of the monument, cast in bronze, is 3.6 meters. A park surrounds the monument.
