Vladikavkaz is hosting a conference “Science and Spirituality: Nart studies of 20-21st centuries”. Over 30 scientists from Moscow, North Ossetia, Chechnya, Abkhazia and Kabardino-Balkaria will discuss the Narts and present their studies.
A presentation of the sixth volume of the “Nart Legends” will be held. The books have been of interest since 1919. They were translated into Russian in 1944. Studies were interrupted by the Great Patriotic War. The scientists studying the Narts want to unite efforts and continue work.
