People's Artist of Russia, composer Georgy Movsesian has died in Moscow at the age of 67 year, RIA Novosti refers to the spokesman for the Union of Composers of Russia, Andrei Ustinov.
Movsesian died from a heart attack.
Movsesian acquired fame thanks to such songs as "My years - my wealth," "Farewell to Love" and "Birch". His songs have veen performed by Anna Herman, Joseph Kobzon,Lev Leshchenko, Muslim Magomaev and others.
