The renowned Russian poet Andrei Voznesenski passed away on Tuesday at
the age of 77, the TV channel "Rossiya - 24" said.
Voznesenski was fist published his works in 1958 and was severely
criticized by the Soviet authorities. In the 1960's he travelled
around Europe and later created many masterpieces inspired by
impressions from these trips.
His poems were the inspiration for the rock-opera such as Yunona and Avos.
