Iran has launched its first digital TV channel - Nomayesh (Display), Trend reports.
The new channel will broadcast national and foreign films and series. Broadcasting will be in Farsi, foreign programs will have subtitles.
The channel was tested in October 2011. The channel was presented to the public.
Iran has 14 TV channels and 34 local channels in provinces.
