Georgian TV company “Imedy” on Saturday evening has gave on air “special reportage about the possible development of events in Georgia in case of Russian intervention”. It was reported by “Echo Moskvy” radio.
In the report of the TV channel without any notices and introductions was reported that “today in the morning in Tskhinvali was committed an act of terror against the Head of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoyta after what Russian military forces invaded Georgia”. Then it was said: “The government and President Michael Saakashvili were evacuated”. Several minutes later the TV company reported about the death of Saakashvili and creation of National Government led by Nino Burdganadze.
The program lasted for half an hour and then after the reports “of terrible bombing of airports and seaports of Georgia” the TV company finally reported that it was a “special reportage about the possible further developments”.
