The Azerbaijani National Library named after M.F. Akhundov and the Russian State Library have signed a cooperation memorandum, APA reports.
The document was signed by Kerim Tairov, Director of the National Library. He noted that the library has links with libraries of over 60 states and has memorandums with libraries of 27 states.
Tairov reminded that the State Library of Russia signed a memorandum for 5 years in 2007. It expired and a new one was initiated. The sides will exchange books and information, cooperate in forming electronic libraries. The Azerbaijani National Library formed an electronic system. Over 300,000 thesis and essays of Azerbaijani scientists will be used.
